New Zodiac sign Shifted

An astronomer believes a shift in the Earth's alignment, giving it a different position in relation to the Sun, has changed zodiac dates and added a 13th sign, Ophiuchus.
Around 3,000 years ago, 12 zodiac signs were assigned to 12 different periods of the year, but the Earth's movement created a shift in the alignment of the stars, according to the astronomer. The shift create the "new" sign, Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer.
