Facebook Purchased fb.com- $8.5 Million
In one of the recent news its revealed that Facebook has bought the domain fb.com last year and deal happened to take place for nearly $8.5 million as per one of the tech site this will be used for company email.
Facebook bought it from the American Farm Bureau Federation .According to Reuters , the company bought the domain name for internal use by its employees. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had revealed at a press event back in November that the company had acquired the domain name from the AFBF, but that time had not revealed the price.
The Farm Bureau agreed to sell us fb.com and in return they agreed not to sell farm subsidies Zuckerberg told to one of the leading Tech site.
